Several years back I made a decision to go from relaxed to natural hair. I worked in corporate America and needed to maintain a professional look in the procedure. I was a stylist that assisted me with this transition. Throughout the transition I wore my hair flat , in braids with extensions and occasionally I wore sew-in weave. The main problem for me was learning how to control kinky hair and appear professional. Here's a list of my trip.
1. My motivation for moving natural would be to be fitter. The compounds from relaxers have been regarded as safe. Nevertheless I had worn comfy hair for twenty-five decades. That has been long enough. I wanted a change and I wished to be free in the rigor of keeping relaxed hair. Additionally, I believed there was ways of keeping kinky hair without consuming an inordinate quantity of time. 2. I started talking my own hair targets and objectives together with my stylist. She had been supportive and useful. As my new expansion arrived from kinky, my stylist could make sure that my hair was clean and well-conditioned. Initially I wore my hair flat ironed the majority of the time. My stylist cut about one quarter inch each month or so as my normal hair grew. While my hair looked exactly the exact same to everybody, I had been exchanging relaxed for organic hair. It had been exciting. 3. The rub came after I washed my hair by myself. I adored my hair feel, nevertheless detangling took longer time compared to relaxed hair. I needed to get used to this. I utilized deep conditioners more frequently and I parted smaller segments during detangling. In that time I had a demanding fulltime job program and a family, so I would eventually become frustrated if caring for my hair took more than I had intended. I hunted for fashions that I could endure for a longer time period. 4. Now, I clearly understood why folks wore braids using extensions. When Suffering from relaxed to natural hair, braids are a boon. Braids offer a constant hair design that lasts for many weeks. Hair could be washed and conditioned with braids and, for a fee, you can get help eliminating the extensions. I needed to be mindful of the burden of the braids placing too much strain in my scalp. It looked like my own hair thinned in certain areas as a consequence of the extensions. 5. Besides braids, I wore sew-in weave. That is something I thought I'd do. However, it was useful during transition. I had a friend who did a fantastic job. It was easy and helped me maintain an adequate style for approximately a week.
